BCCC Free Day 2014
A Day to Explore Your Options
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, April 10, 2014
Beaufort County Community College Campus
Registration Deadline is Friday, April 4.
Are you thinking about starting college for the first time or going back to school to upgrade your job skills? Are you wondering whether the time is right or whether your study skills are good enough?
Then why not spend a day at Beaufort County Community College to see if it’s right for you. On Thursday, April 10, if you are 16 years old or older you can check out actual classes and their instructors for free. You can also talk to BCCC staff about admissions, career planning, financial aid and college transfers.
Twelve classes in a variety of disciplines – allied health, arts and sciences, business and industry are available for you to attend. A complete schedule is available on the BCCC website.
You may register to attend as many of these classes during the day as you would like. All we ask is that you do not register for more than one class during the same time period and, out of respect for the instructor and other students that you stay for the entire class.
It’s a great way to find out if college is right for you! To learn more about a career you might be interested in. Or whether you might want to transfer to a four-year school. Or learn computer skills. Or how to put together a resumé. Or how to pay for your education.
BCCC faculty and staff members will be on hand to answer your questions and show you first-hand what attending college is like.
Want to attend Free Day at BCCC? Registering and attending is easy! You can register in two ways:
