Reasearch Misconduct of Science
Beaufort County Community College has a responsibility to promote and explain federal policies and procedures related to research misconduct. See BCCC Research Misconduct Process.
Misconduct of science means fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism in proposing, performing, or reviewing research, or in reporting research results.
Gant-funded personnel must receive training relating to misconduct of science. BCCC provides a PowerPoint presentation to explain the general principals of research misconduct. After viewing the PowerPoint presentation, please print, sign, and send to the Grants Office the training verification form.
