Mr. McFadden holds a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clemson University and a Masters in Business Administration from Winthrop University, and is currently working toward his PhD.

Mr. McFadden joined the faculty at Beaufort in December 2001.  He had worked partime for Continuing Education Division since 1990.

He is currently the Lead Instructor for the Information Systems, Network Administration and Support Curriculum.

Mr. McFadden has over 35 years experience in the computer networking field working for many large firms including:

	Duke Power, Design Engineering, Security and Control Systems Group
	Winthrop University, Asst Director of Academic Computer Center, Graduate Computer Science Instructor, and consultant for SBDC
	Texasgulf (PCS Phosphate) Superintendent for Information Systems

Mr. McFadden is professional member of  Phi Beta Lambda and is active in the Technology Committee and the NC Computer Instructor's Association.

Mr. McFadden is married with four children, and five grand children. He is a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, and active in his Masonic Lodge.  His hobbies include computers, flying where he is a certified flight instructor, amateur radio operator, WA4KWN, and SCUBA diving.
